This black Mazda truck wears shiny 22-inch wheels and a new front bumper featuring bigger fog lamp cutouts and LED DRLs. Blacked out tail lamps and a sports bar set complete the rapper look. Not many changes but a big change in outlook, showing what’s possible with the BT-50.
Mazda’s one-tonne pick-up player made a quiet entry into Malaysia a couple of months ago. Like the Ford Ranger, buyers can choose from a 2.2 litre common rail diesel (150 PS, 375 Nm) and a 3.2L five-cylinder diesel with 200 PS and 470 Nm. Prices range from RM89,841.60 to RM107,051.75. Danny Tan loves driving as much as he loves a certain herbal meat soup, and sweet engine music as much as drum beats. He has been in the auto industry since 2006, previously filling the pages of two motoring magazines before joining this website. Enjoys detailing the experience more than the technical details.
